WHAT IS EPSA?

Elmstead Primary School Association, which all parents are members of, is guided by us - the EPSA Committee - who do the fundraising.  We put the FUN into FUNdraising! If you have any ideas for fundraising, that you would like to share, then please come and speak to one of us.  We will be more than happy to listen and hopefully you too can get involved!

When do we meet?

We meet once each month to talk about Fun, Fundraising ideas and we certainly enjoy putting our heads together to come up with suggestions, of which our children too can enjoy.  It might seem thaqt we are always asking for money, but if we want to better the surroundings and enjoyment of the children at school then this is our way forward.  We hope you will agree!  The main aim of this organisation is to raise funds for the children within Elmstead Primary School.  Whether it be for their enjoyment outside with the play areas, or for indoor resources to help with their education.  

What have EPSA provided the children with?

  • EPSA financed the refurbishment of the school library, in addition to supplying a considerable number of books.
  • We contribute to the star afternoons and mornings, which have included outings to the cinema, Beth Chatto Gardens and All Fired Up.
  • We funded a significant part of the pirate ship and Key Stage 1 and 2 adventure areas.
  • We bought digital cameras for each classroom.
  • Every month EPSA pay for the printing of photographs that are taken in the classroom and around the school.
  • We have purchased two lovely new gas BBQs, used for all outside events.

  • In the past 5 years YOU have helped us raise in the region of £40 000.

How can you help?

Please volunteer to help out in whatever way you can, either before or after events for however long or short the period of time.  If we all give a little, a lot will happen!  With your help we can raise even more money for our children.  None of this can happen without your help!
