Children's Work: Year 1

MY NEWS

At Sports Day I got an ice lolly.  It was very nice.  I had a picnic with Fraser.  I got first in the first race.  I got third in the second race.  Then, I got last. 

At the Fete my best bit was the golden ticket.  I liked the bouncy castle.  The best on the Fete I think was it was fun!

"You clearly enjoyed yourself," said Miss Scutchey.

MY HOLIDAY IN FRANCE

We went in the car first, then we under the sea.  We had to stay longer, because a train got stuck!  When it was finished we arrived in France.  Then we went to our cottage.  After that we got the stuff out of the car.

On Tuesday we spent all the day in the pool.  There were lots of tubes to slide down and a rapid ride.  On Wednesday we went cycling and bowling.  In the afternoon we went pony riding.  It was fun!

On Thursday we all stayed at the pool.  My sister and I loved the rapids because they are fast and bumpy.  On Friday we went cycling then we went home.  After that we got in the car then we went to the Disney Shop.  I bought a shirt.

"Amelie, go and show this to Mr Middleditch, who I am sure will want to put this lovely piece of writing on the website," said Mrs Horwood.

SALLY

Sally is eating her food.  Sally is very clever.  She can paint and she can dance.  She can do everything that people can do.  I love Sally.  The best thing I like about her is that she plays with me.  Sally is my cat!
