Once Upon A Time
by James W
Once upon a time there lived a witch with a cat that was very tall. Next day they went on the witch's broom.
"Up!" said the witch and they both flew. Along the way they met a few animals. They met a bird that was as drty as could be.
"Up!" cried the witch. They all went up. They met a dog that was as fluffy as could be.
The witch shouted "Up! Up!" They met a frog as squelchy as could be...
"Lovely piece of writing, James," said Mrs Smith.
At the Zoo
by James
Once upon a time there lived a female elephant. Her name was Olivia and she had a big long trunk, which she used to eat food. Her favourite food was apples and eggs. One morning she woke up and had five eggs and apples. She felt sick!
"Excellent James!" said Mrs Hardman.
Our Trip to Colchester Zoo
by Sky
We went on a coach ride. We arrived at the zoo. A lady told us what to do. We got out of the coach.
In the zoo we looked at some monkeys and an ant-eater! We had two talks, one about the Savannah and one about mini-beasts. We had a little snack. It was brilliant. We saw silver monkeys and then we had a drink. Mine was Spring Fruit. WE went in the friendly area. I went in a kangaroo, a tortoise shell and a little snake's egg. We fed two giraffes with leaves on a twig. We saw snakes, sealions and penguins.
We had lunch. We went on two adventure parks and a playground.
